"Know," replied Charles with a look in his eyes that stared at Raline sharply

Raline, who heard this, immediately looked at Charles demandingly. So did Charles know about the mirror that had brought her here? Did Charles plan all of this?

"Where? I want to come back, said Raline, full of wishes.

But Charles looked at Raline, confused, as if he didn't know what Raline was saying. "Mirror, you want a mirror?"

Raline immediately nodded enthusiastically, seeming to return to her world and bear the shame of being trapped in a forest full of strange things.

"What for? Are you still thinking about how you look in a situation of fear like this?” he asked again.

Of course, that made Raline dumbfounded. Did the man know what Raline meant? But why did Raline even say he was thinking about appearance?

"No! I want to go back," Raline said firmly.

"Where to?" Charles asked, confused.

"I want to go back. Please return the mirror. I don't want to be here!" shouted Raline, who was already tired of all this.

“What mirror do you mean? And back where? Come here, let's talk slowly," Charles said to Raline gently.

Raline admitted the words of the man now in front of her were lovely and gentle. But don't forget that he is also a werewolf who thirsts for blood. After all, wild animals are still animals.

"You are still afraid of me?" asked Charles to Raline.

"How can I not be afraid if your goal is to pounce on me? Isn't that right?" asked Raline boldly.

Charles was silent for a while, staring at Raline sharply. She didn't know what the man was thinking. What was clear was that the man's eyes seemed to tear Raline's body, intimidating her so that Raline felt uncomfortable with that gaze.

"Did you think I would kill you?" he asked.

"Of course!"

"Why? Why are you like that? If I want, then I will do it now or maybe earlier, without stalling for a time like this," replied Charles, still glaring at Raline.

Raline is now speechless. Yes, that's right. If she think it's true what Charles said, maybe if he wanted to pounce on Raline, Charles could have done it earlier.

But Raline shook her head vigorously, no! She can't be fooled like that by the man in front of her. It could just be a trick to pounce on Raline.

Raline ran back with all her might to escape from Charles. Her tiny legs kept breaking through everything in front of her. Whether it's a thorn or even a thick plant, her feet keep moving without stopping hoping she can escape from Charles.

Raline widened her eyes when she saw Charles beside her. This time, the girl kept running while Charles kept pace with her by jumping. It made Raline force herself to keep running until the girl's breath began to pant.

Raline should have learned from the incident before that no matter how hard he ran. The half-werewolf could still catch up with her. No matter how hard Raline tries.

Raline's breathing began to be erratic. The air supply was running low, and her legs also felt tired from running. As a result, she fell resignedly. Even so, it seems that running away from the werewolves will not work. She could say they do not match their strength.

“Why do you keep running? Just trust me. I won't hurt you. How?" Charles asked Raline, who was catching her breath by kneeling on the ground.

Raline ignored Charles' words. The girl just tried to regulate her hunting breath. Raline felt like fainting this very second. Her throat also felt parched.

"You will only hurt yourself if you continue like this," said Charles, crouching before Raline.

Raline looked at the man with fear. The man's eyes could anesthetize Raline's consciousness for a moment. Her eyes were so beautiful, eyes that Raline had just seen. Is it because she is from the werewolf race, and because of that, she has beautiful eyes?

"Hey, what's wrong?" he asked again, who was now able to regain Raline's consciousness.

Raline tried to catch her breath and felt pain in her leg. Raline saw that there were several scratches. It seemed like they were famous for thorns or tree branches when she ran earlier. Raline didn't feel it earlier, but now her leg hurts a lot.

Charles, who saw Raline's leg bleeding, immediately showed a panicked face. "How come, what if they hunt?"

Raline didn't know what the man meant, but didn't Charles want to hunt her too? Is it not?

Raline saw Charles put his palm on Raline's wound, which made the girl wince in pain. After a while, Raline no longer felt pain. She doesn't know what the man did to his wound.

"They won't smell you. Come with me, and I'll treat your wound," Charles said with great concern to Raline.

"Are you going to eat me?" Raline asked while looking at Charles with a scared look.

Charles, who heard this, immediately looked at Raline in confusion. It seems that this girl in front of her always thinks that everything around her is evil.

"I told you I won't hurt you. I want to save you. Why do you think I will also hurt you like them?” he asked.

"But you are just like them," replied Raline.

"That's why you're afraid of me?" asked Charles to make sure.

Of course, Raline nodded quickly. Indeed, that made Raline afraid of Charles, especially when the wolves were submissive and obedient to Charles' words. It was clear what was in Raline's mind about Charles' cruelty.

Charles gently stroked Raline's head so that it felt calmer than before. As if lulled by Charles' treatment, Raline is now calmer.

"I won't hurt you. How many times have I said that?" Raline is silent in a thousand languages.

"So, want to come with me? It's too dangerous for you here," continued Charles.

“I want to go back. Where is the mirror that brought me here? This is a mistake. This is a dream!” Raline said.

Charles laughed at that. "What are you talking about? Come with me if you want to look in the mirror.”

"I want to go back," Raline said again.

"Back where? What are you saying? You look very strange looking around the mirror since earlier," said Charles.

Charles stood up. "Come with me, or will you stay?"
