Rejecting the Alpha
Turning twenty wasn't a big deal for me, That's the way it is for second borns from royalty. It was a rule set by our ancestors so leadership will remain in our pack. Mates are chosen for us reasons I can't really explain but I have a little idea. You see it's believed that second borns are rejected by the moon goodess if they don't accept their fated mate. My father is the strongest Alpha in our pack and that makes me a princess but I know am meant for better things.
I shifted to my wolf a typical white wolf,I left through the back door avoiding greetings from the pack palace slaves.
Trivestone pack is the strongest and biggest pack from what I was told, Hunters no longer come for us,I remember when I was little we were attacked by hunters and then my uncle the beta died,It was too traumatizing for a young pup like me. Know the moon goodess protects us from any danger outside the pack. I wonder how outside Trivestone looks like.
I shifted back,I took my feature from my mom,Tall, Beautiful, When I shifted to my wolf I was just thirteen which wasn't supposed to be so, Then my father thought of marrying me off soon to him,My worst nightmare the Alpha of silver pack,He was few years older than I was.
" There you are… Temple smiled sitting on the rock next to me.
Temple she's my best friend since forever,She already has her mate, The bond they share makes me wonder if I might share the same bond with Tyler. I doubt Tyler is a dictator king,I heard his subjects are his slaves.
" Carina……. What are you thinking ??? Temple shook me back to reality.
" How messed up I am,I whimped.

" I do am going to talk to my parents,I said running through the woods to my pack,I saw little pups play around and I smiled,My eyes caught with two mates making out at a corner I just kept staring I know they thought of me as weird.
Finally our pack palace,It was big and I don't think a day is enough to go round it.
" Carina… Where have you been ??? My elder brother Cain yelled at me,Cain was next in line and we never had a brother sister relationship he doesn't understand me as a matter of fact no one does.
" None of your business, Where can I find mom ???? I asked dashing out.
" When is she getting married to Tyler am sick of seeing her around, Cain scoffed.
I finally found my mom, She was making preparations for my birthday party tonight,All of this meant nothing to me my happiness was my priority.

" Not know dear,Am getting the garden ready for your party, It's going to be just perfect, Tyler is going to be here too..

I dropped the bomb she'll,I know I have guts but it's the truth let's face it, Just like me mom is a second born and just like me also she was forced to marry my dad,I know they don't bond with each other, What they have isn't love but perseverance and I don't want a home without love. I don't want to be like my parents.

I didn't want to do this hear with Cain,In front of dad it would be disrespectful so I just lay on the ground like a slave begging for mercy.

I ignored her and just headed for my room I just wanted to soak my pillow.
