The sound of the fallen food flask echoed in the room and the two turned to look at Aria.
Marco looked up with surprise and a low hissed escape from him as he quickly recovered from the surprise.
“What are you doing here?” Marco asked with a frown while his so-called cousin who he was banging snorted coldly, clearly not feeling happy that they'd been interrupted.
Aria's eyes were filled with tears and her mouth opened wide in shock. Her words come out in whispers. “What do you mean Marco? I am your girlfriend and we’ve been dating for years. I'm here because you said you couldn't make it to our anniversary because you're sick and now you're asking me why I came here?”
Marco looked away, as if he felt ashamed for a moment and he then faced her. “Well, I didn't expect you to come and now that you're here. You’ve seen whatever you came to see. You can leave now.”
Aria stared at him in disbelief. “Marco, are you seriously saying this to me right now, have you forgotten who is standing before you? It's I Aria, your girlfriend,”
Aria turned to look at who still clung to him without shame. “And is that not your cousin? You're cheating on me with your cousin. That's disgusting Marco. How can you stoop so low.”
And that is when the bimbo decided to finally speak up. “Hey, foolish Aria. Point of correction, Marco and I are never cousins. We’ve been fucking since you can ever remember.” She even pecked Marco's cheek with a smile.
Aria legs were weak and she pointed an accusing finger at Marco. “Marco, tell me what she's saying is not true and that our entire five years of relationship is not a joke?”
Marco let out a laugh, looking at her innocent face. “And that's why I never like you. You're so gullible and foolish that you don't notice the way my so-called cousin and I looked at each other. Have I ever looked at you the way I looked at her? That's because I don't see you as beautiful. In fact you know what's a turn off about you? It's the fact that you're a fucking virgin.”
Leila, Marco's so-called cousin, gave Marco an are you kidding me look and she looked at Aria with a mocking smile while covering her mouth with her hand. “Wow, you mean she's a virgin at twenty five? I don't think she belongs to this century. No wonder Marco didn't like you. Let me tell you. Marco likes experienced women.”
Aria didn't think she would have to witness this in her life, Marco's betrayal hurt so bad.
But what hurt her the most was the fact he never really loved her, he just decided to waste her youth, she kept her virginity all for him but she's being called an alien because of that and he even said she's unattractive.
“Marco, you can't do this to me? What we had was real.” Aria finally let it out.
Marco shook his head slowly at her words. “Nope, baby girl. What you had was real. I never loved you. In fact I only agreed to date you because of a bet in high school. I didn't really like you but I pretended to for all these years. You know what, let's break up.”
Aria turned around to wipe away the tears that fell from her eyes and she let out a facade smile. “So you're with the whole five years because of a stupid bet. Wow! You're a really a bastard than I thought and you know what screw you, I'm done with you thrash.”
She picked the soup flask that fell to the floor and she moved forward to Marco and slap him thrice on the cheeks.
Marco's lips bursted and his cheeks turned as he stared at Aria in shock.
His so-called cousin was really angry that she raised her hand to slap Aria but Aria glare at her and held her hand up in the air before flinging it away.
“Don't you dare raise your filthy hand to me.”
She decided to leave with that but as she got to the entrance of the door, she turned to them and spoke for the last time. “May you both rot in hell. Bitches!”
Aria didn't get herself, her mind kept replaying the scenes again and again.
She didn't even know when she stood by the road and boarded a taxi back to the club.
“We are here ma’am.” The driver tapped her after the third time he wasn't able to call her.
She paid the driver and came down from the cab and she made her way to the club.
She was feeling pain in her heart that she clutched at her chest area.
The pain became unbearable and she felt like she needed something to drive the pain away and alcohol will do the work.
She walked straight to the bartender who recognized her and smiled at her.
Aria didn't return the smile as usual “Where is Bella?” she asked.
The bartender noticed her unusualness but he decided to keep quiet. “Oh, Bella has gone home since she's finished her shift.”
Aria nodded and sat on the stool. “Okay, then. Can I have the mixture of the most toxic alcohol ever?”
The bartender, Josh, looked at her with mouth open in shock.
Of course, they know Aria is like the saint among them, she never drinks.
“No, what's wrong with Aria? Did you and Marco have a fight?” He asked worriedly.
“We broke up.” Aria replied flatly and the guy opened his mouth and closed it back.
“Aria, you're not in the correct state to decide anything. I think you should go home right away.”
Aria shook her stubbornly. “Josh, you don't know how I'm feeling right now. Please just do what I asked of you.”
Josh sighed and finally turned to get her a cup of neat whiskey.
She has never drunk and he doesn't know how she's going to take it.
