Mila
The party was alive the second I walked in. Bass from the speakers vibrated through my chest, mixing with the smell of spilled beer, sweet perfume, and weed smoke curling in the air. Colored lights flashed over bodies packed tight on the dance floor.
God it felt so good to be back here, with the people I loved the most.
A group of my friends waved me over, with red cups in their hands.
“Paris girl is back!” one of them, Delia shouted, handing me a cup.
I laughed and downed it, it burned sweetly down my throat, then another and another.
The alcohol spread through my body faster than anything, unlocking a confidence in me and I danced wildly in the middle of the crowd, hips moving to the rhythm, my short skirt riding up with every grind losing myself in the music and the press of bodies.
A figure stood behind me on the floor, rocking my waist as we danced drinking more and more shorts of tequila. I’d managed to build up a lot of resistance while in Paris, so this was absolutely nothing.
“I need water!” I called out, heading to the end of the table. Just then my phone buzzed, and my heart nearly plummeted to the floor when I saw the time.
01:47 a.m
“Shit,” I cursed under my breath, making Jack or was it Jason who I hadn't noticed followed me from the dance floor, look over at me with concern.
“You good?”
“I need to head home now, or else my new step-daddy will be upset.”
“Let me take you home, My car’s right outside.”
I hesitated for a second, but his smile was charming and the thought of dealing with Sean sooner rather than later made me nod. “You sure? I don’t want to pull you away from the party.”
“Positive,” Jason replied, his hand lightly touching the small of my back as he guided me toward the door. “I’ve had enough fun anyway. Besides, I get to spend a few more minutes with the hottest girl here.”
We stepped outside into the cool night air. His car was a sleek black sedan. I slid into the passenger seat, the leather cool against my thighs. As he started driving, the music from the party faded behind us.
“So… stepdad, huh?” Jason asked, glancing over with a playful smirk. “Sounds like he’s strict.”
I laughed softly. “You have no idea.”
Jason chuckled. “I get it. My parents were the same when I was still living with them. I’m twenty-one, by the way. Just moved back to the city after college. What about you? Paris, right? That’s what your friends were saying.”
“Yeah, I just got back,” I said, crossing my legs. The motion made my skirt ride higher. I caught him glancing. “It was amazing, but coming home to a brand new stepdad has been… weird? Awkward? I can't really say.”
We talked easily the rest of the short drive—about favorite spots in the city, how Paris food ruined regular takeout for me, and how he was trying to start a small photography side hustle. By the time he pulled up in front of the house, the conversation felt natural.
“I had fun tonight,” Jason said, turning to face me. “Can I get your number? Maybe we can do something that doesn’t involve you rushing home to an angry stepdad.”
I smiled and gave it to him. He typed it in quickly, then sent a quick text so I had his too. “Drive safe,” I said, before stepping out.
The house was dark except for a light coming from my room. I opened the door quietly, left my heels in the hallway, and tiptoed upstairs.
I pushed my bedroom door open and froze.
Sean was sitting on the edge of my bed, arms folded across his chest. He looked at me with steady eyes.
“You are four hours late,” he said. “You agreed to ten, remember?”
My heart started pounding. I tried to keep my voice steady. “I lost track of time. It’s not that serious.”
He didn’t move. “I saw you getting out of a guy’s car, Mila. Was that why you were late?”
My cheeks burned, a mix of embarrassment and fresh anger rising fast. “Were you watching me from the window or something? Or are you stalking me now?”
Sean stood up slowly, towering over me. “I wasn’t stalking. I was waiting because you broke a clear curfew. I gave you one simple rule tonight and you couldn’t even manage that. Who the hell was he Mila? You think it’s smart climbing into cars with men you just met?”
“He’s a friend of my friends,” I shot back, lifting my chin defiantly even as my pulse raced. “And you don’t get to lecture me about who I spend time with. I’m an adult. I can talk to whoever I want.”
His jaw tightened. “While you’re under this roof and your mother is away, you follow my rules.”
I crossed my hands under my chest, trying to look unbothered even though my legs felt weak. “And if don’t..?”
He stayed calm, eyes fixed on me. “I was willing to let this go as it's your first disobedience, but your smart mouth has landed you a punishment.
“Here’s what's going to happen, I'll give you options and you'll pick your preferred punishment, understood?”
I glared at him but remained quiet, I could breathe hard and this man would take offense to it.
“Now that's a good girl,” he started, “you have three options; I call your mother right now and explain how you're spending your 2ams with men. Two, I take all your cards, and your phone for the rest of her trip. Three, I spank you until you understand what you've done wrong.”
I stared at him, my stomach tightening with weird pleasure at the thought of the third option.
Shit, I must have had so much alcohol that my brain is all foggy.
Get a grip Mila.
“You're joking.”
“I’m not,” he said evenly. “Choose.”
Calling Mom would mean days of lectures and disappointment. Losing my cards would trap me here with nothing to do. But the third… his hands on me. The thought made my skin feel hot.
“Fine,” I said quietly. “The third one. But only because the others are worse.”
Sean nodded once. “Come here.”
I walked to where he sat slowly, suddenly aware of how short my skirt was and even shorter when I was sprawled across his legs.
“Bend over my lap,” he said.
I hesitated, my face already burning. “Like this?”
“Yes, you'll count each spank and if you miss a number, we’ll start again from One. Understood?”
I nodded obediently, lowering myself across his thighs, stomach pressing against his legs.
The second the cold air kissed my ass cheeks, I knew I was fucked and not in a good way.
I turned over to him, trying to catch a glimpse of his face or at least know when he's going to spank me.
“No, keep your head down. I do not want you to expect it.”
