“Ash?” There were a few knocks on the door, followed by Eva's voice. “My mom is here right now. I have to go now, but I will call you later!”
“Yeah, bye!” I croaked absentmindedly. I couldn't take my eyes off the phone screen.
“You'd better get going... I saw Jared...
