I got home and found Cael at the kitchen counter with a glass of water and his phone, scrolling through something. He looked up when I walked in.
"Get dressed," I said. "We're going out."
He looked at me for a second. "Out where?"
"Somewhere that isn't this apartment." I loosened my tie....
