Alpha Arnav's POV
24 years later...
I sit on the chair looking at those man who sat across me with a pale face. The meeting was arranged suddenly out of no where.
"Why this happened actually when I ordered strictly not to let any single mistakes happen at border?" I asked trying to calm myself.
"Alpha, the attack was sudden that we did not have the chance to fight back" one of them said with a shaking voice.
Sudden attack? How bullshit of a excuse is that? - Tej, my wolf said with a growl.
"I did not ask how does that happened. I am asking why it happened when 10 of the members along with southern pack army patrolling the border. Was my training that weak which lead my members into failure?" I shouted banging my fist on the table which cause the table break in two pieces. The fear in their eyes were clearly visible.
"Al...pha.... They were rouge we-"
"Shut up" I shouted cutting his word in the middle. What the hell does they think I am?
"I gave you all the best training with all the profits in life but in return you give me these, a failure?" My voice boomed through the room.
Forget the rouges I will snatch their heads first.
I can feel my wolf trying to control over me. My jaw clenched as I glared at them with my blood shot eyes. Controlling my wolf is getting harder. I know this anger is causing him to take full control but if I allow it, it will definitely have a bad end.
"The rouges won't send a fucking message saying when they will be attacking us. That's why I trained you all to be the best so that you can fight back and defeat them but..." I shook my head "you all proved how wrong I was, thinking that way" I can feel my body getting hot. It's hard to calm myself when it become hot.
"Son, calm down. It was a sudden act, may be there was no time to fight back for that. Sometimes it happens son. Just calm down for a minute" I heard my father said but his voice is far from soothing my rage. I closed my eyes before taking a breath. I can't lost control, not untill..
"Is one of them caught?" I asked again.
"Yes Alpha we have one of them in our prison" Kavir my beta said.
"Take a good care of him and.." I looked towards the other member "I want the remaining rouges here in my pack. It was your responsibility to protect the border and since something like this happened, you need to take care of it"
"Yes Alpha our members are already out for them" They replied making me nod.
"The meeting is over" I said dismissing them.
After the meeting I went to my room and took a long cold shower not because I am aroused or something but to calm the raging down. Sighing, my mind goes back on thinking about mate. Everyone in the pack already have their mate when they turned 20 but for me its like a unfortunate. I never found till now. I have seen many beautiful girls but my wolf never allowed them to come near me. I know someone still out there who is destined to be mine and I am willing to wait for her. My heart and my body only belongs to her and I don't think the other she wolf will be able to handle my beast of a wolf.
We will find our other half soon - Tej said in my mind.
"I know" I leaned on the tiled walls.
Let me tell you, when we find her I am not letting her out of my sight. She will always seat beside us wherever we go.
I nodded "I am thinking the same"
I walk out of the showers wrapping towel around my waist. I was about to pick my shirt when I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in" I said not bothering to look around and slipped my shirt on my body.
"Alpha" the female's ringing voice stopped my track. I turned around to see Ruby standing there.
"What are you doing here?" I asked in serious tone.
"I am here to meet you" she fleshed a smile. Ruby is the daughter of first beta where her brother Cabir took the position after his father. She is beautiful and best female fighter in the pack.
What's her need to meet us? - Tej growled.
"I don't remember anything asking you to do Ruby. Next time you are here without any importance then be ready to take the punishment" my stern voice had her eyes widened in shock.
"Oh no, forgive me Alpha I was here just to check if you are ready to go" she trembled.
"Now that you saw, excuse my privacy" she nodded. She was about to leave but my voice stopped her.
"Remember one thing Ruby, I don't meant to rude but don't do such thing that I don't like because it won't take a second to wring your small neck and force myself to forget who you are" I warned.
She nodded "I am sorry Alpha" she said before disappearing from the room.
That's good,she really needed to know her place. I won't tolerate any she wolf with me beside our mate - Tej said.
"That's for me too" I replied before getting ready.
I parked my car in front of the university. Yes, I visit here not because I study but I used to study here. Me my my members are senior and some of my pack members already studying here. This is not a normal university but its made for all the werewolf.
"You are here soon Alpha" Kavir smirked at me. Even though he is my beta but he is my best friend.
"I thought to give a little check" I shrugged closing the car door.
"Of course, come on everyone are already waiting" I nodded before heading inside.
I have 7 members beside me as a senior. We are a team here. When I reached I saw my members waving hands sitting at our usual seat.
The other students looked at us as we walked inside. The different scents mixed in the air.
"There is nothing special in today's scheduled" Rajib my best male warrior said out.
"I am drained from today's training. Fuck I want to screw someone now" I shook my head hearing Segh . He is the trainer in the pack.
"Then find some chick to get along" Ross replied. Ross is my third in command in the pack. He already found his mate and others too except Segh and me.
"Of course I will" Segh replied.
"Wait till you find your mate" Kavir said with smirk.
"Till she come I can definitely use the fucking time" everyone laughed at Segh's reply.
"Hey look there" Brij said pointing at the farthest corner. I turned to see a girl sitting alone. Her head was down hiding her face with her hair.
"I thought you are going to show me something interesting but you broke my trust" Rishob rolled his eyes. He is in charge of the patrolling area. He was out of the town for few days and just come back last night hearing the attack at border.
"She is. Don't you ever noticed she always sat alone on that corner everyday. Since she joined here no one show her talking with anyone and basically not even her face I must add" Brij said pointing to the girl.
"Is that so?" Dhrub my weapon master said raising his eyebrow.
I looked towards the girl again. She must be something. I can't even smell her scent which is strange.
"And no one knows if she is a werewolf or human because I heard people say she don't even smell like one" Brij frowned.
"If she is not a wolf then how did she got admission here?" Segh asked where Brij shrugged.

"What a mystery!" I mumbled while my eyes fixed on the small feature.
