Chapter 1 Prologue

Hanna Swetha 777 words

"Where do you think you are running to, my mate?" His deep voice vibrated near my eyes, bringing back all the memories that I had tried to forget.

I clenched my eyes close, not daring to look at him.

Not daring to look at the devil!

Not daring to look at the man that I hated with all my heart, …and I still do.

The word mate from his mouth for me seems like a nightmare.

I don't dare to raise my head to look at his devil-like gorgeous face.

I felt his rough thumb and forefinger pinching my chin and then the next second, he forced my head to look up at his dark blue ocean eyes which were filled with emptiness and a hint of feelings that I couldn’t understand.

“Are you stupid, Rechel? He doesn’t have any feelings like we have! He is a devil with no feeling!” My wolf whispered in pain and anger, as we both couldn't believe this.

“Look at me! What the hell are you even thinking?!” His deep dark voice rang in the dark room, bringing me back. My body flinched a little and I tried to move back into the corner to hide myself like always.

“Please let me go... you... you are already married and I don't think you should be here with me. I am just a mate and we could reject each other" I whispered, trying my best to calm down, and yet, my voice came out shaking. I tried to remind him about Rose, his wife, his childhood sweetheart, whom he only ever loved.

At the same time, I hoped he wouldn’t recognize me, and let me go so he could be with the love of his life.

He paused for a second hearing my words, searching for something in my eyes, and the next second, he threw his head back, laughing like I said something funny.

I looked puzzled and didn’t understand what was so funny that he was laughing like that. Laughing out loud.

After a few seconds of laughing, he stopped and took a step closer, removing the little space that kept us apart.

“Tsk, tsk, tsk” He shook his head tsking, staring into my eyes as he searched for an answer in mine. Then he replied in his dark dangerous voice “My Little cutie, did you seriously think that I am willing to let you go after 5 long years?!”.

My eyes grow wider in his words. How…? How come he still remembers me after all these years? I am not the only one who he bullied.

“What’s with that look? Did you actually think that I could let you go after everything that happened between us?” he asked as if I was joking.

He raised his hand, and gently stroked my face a few times before grabbing my face, pulling me a little closer to him, leading my lips to almost touch his while he whispered in his sweet voice "When you disappeared, I promised myself to find you and give you the hell for disobeying your master, and now, I got you as a mate, do you think that I will let you go? No, if you think I will, then you must be dreaming" giving me chills.

Am I really going back into that hell after all the things I did to get out of it?

NO!

I am not going back!

“I… I am not going back there,” I whispered, using all my strength.

“Did you not hear my words, Rechel? You are going back with me to the pack if you want to save everyone from the punishment that you and your family have committed!” He said, reminding me about all the rules that we werewolves should follow.

My heart stopped for a second, thinking about returning to that hell.

There is no way out as I begged "Pl... please, don't do anything to my family, I can do anything you want".

I gave up fighting him and finally decided to do what he wanted.

"Anything I want?!" He asked with a sinister smile on his face as if he had something cruel on his head.

I nodded my head, not daring to think about me but about my family. I don’t want to hurt them.

I am ready to do anything just to protect them like they did 5 years ago.

"I want you to be my Mistress. Can you do it?" he demanded, letting out those cruel words from his beautiful lips and knowing perfectly well that I couldn't refuse him.
