He let go of my lips, as he moved back a little and stared at me in his Alpha's eyes, and I am trying to control my heartbeat. I don't know why but I started to feel so different when he kissed me. The way his lips touched mine, the way his hands were all over my body, and everything about him made me feel different and not like before. I used to feel disgusted and hate him so much whenever he was near me.
He grabbed my hand and pulled me closer again, making my heart beat so fast but I didn't let that show on my face. He looked into my eyes, getting back to normal, and said with a smile "Come on, let's go down!". I paused in confusion and then I shook my head, remembering Tina. I can't let Tina know any of these things. He looked at me in confusion and asked "What's wrong with you?".
"I... I don't think I should walk down to the hall with you" I said because I don't want to let Tina know about I am being with Damon even though he is married and at the same time, I don't want to get any attention on me.
"What? Why?!" He asked in his dark angry voice, getting pissed as I can't understand why. I took a sigh and looked at him in confusion and asked "Why do you want me to come with you, while your wife is down there? I don't want anyone to know that I am with you, especially my friends".
"your friends?!" he asked me back, ignoring the part about his wife. I nodded my head in confusion by he asked. "You know people in this place?!". "yes.... or else, why will I be here?" I asked him back in confusion, as I don't know what is going on in his head. His face hardens as he asked in anger "So your friend is Lucas?!". I shook my head and replied, "NO! I am Tina's friend!". His eyes widen in shock and started to think about something, but I never thought that he could give me this reaction.
He looked at me, getting his thoughts together, and said "Fine!" and walks out of the room, as I didn't understand what he was thinking?! or did he ask that because he know Tina? that's impossible! she can never be friends with someone like him. I took a long sigh and walks out of the room, as I know Tina will be looking for me.
I walks down to the stage and saw Damon talking with Tina and Lucas. I was shocked but I still walked toward her, trying to see what they were talking about.
"Congratulations on your wedding and getting the man that you love," He said with a small smile and hugged her. Tina was smiling at him and nodded her head as if she know him. I was shocked, as I turned my head to Damon, who is already looking at me, while Rose, his wife is standing next to him. I gulped in fear and tried to walk back, thinking she will recognize me just like Damon did.
Before I could get off the stage, Tina saw me and grabbed my hand, pulling me closer to her and introducing Damon to me, saying "This is Damon Logan, the Alpha of Moonlight pack and also the Richest man in the country!". I gulped and nodded my head at her, as I don't want Tina to know that I have already known him and the relationship between us.
That's when I saw Rose, whose eyes are widen in shock, as she looked at Tina, forcing a smile and asked "And she is?!". "She is my best friend Rechel Hedly" Tina introduced me with a smile, thinking that she is doing something good.
I shook my head a little, knowing about all the things that were going to happen tonight. Damon smirked at me, making my heart stop. I know he is thinking about something evil and I am going to suffer. But before he could talk, I heard a beautiful Angalic manly voice "Congratulations, dear!".
I turned to look at him and my heart started to beat so fast, it is none other than Devid Brown, The one and only kind soul in this whole group of bullies. I don't understand how could such an angle be with this bunch of Bullies, who hurt others. He still makes my heart beat so fast, even after all these years. He walks up to Tina and hugged her and Lucas when I saw the other 2 monsters with him. They did the same and gave a smile to both Lucas and Tina. I just stood there, trying my best to control my heart.
I raised my head to look at Devid, and as soon as I heard his voice "Little girl, is that you?" I was so shocked that he could still recognize me. He walks to me and patted my head with a smile and said "I missed you". My face turned red in shyness and my heart started to beat so fast. And before I could reply, Damon grabbed his hand from my head and whispers in his dark voice "Stop touching her! She is fucking mine!". Even though no one heard that, I could hear it. My heart skipped a beat and my face turned red hearing his words. Even though I hate him, the mate bond is making everything happen! yes, the mate bond is the reason! I... I hate him and if he is not my mate then my heart could have never beat fast for someone like him, a monster.
He took back his head and nodded his head, walking back. Damon turned to look at me and whispers in my ear "You will fucking pay for this! Never let a man touch you!". I gulped and nodded my head, not wanting to make him angry. Tian saw this and asked in confusion "Do you guys know each other before?".
"Yes, she is from my pack," Damon said dryly and looks at me. I gulped in fear and nodded my head, trying to make Tina believe. She was even more confused and asked "B... but Rechel doesn't have a pack",
"She does, you can ask her about that," Damon said and looks at me, so I can explain everything. I sighed and nodded my head, saying "I run away from his pack when I was younger!". TIna's face instantly froze as she is scared for me, I don't want to hurt her so I forced a smile and replied: "you don't have to worry, He doesn't want to give any of those punishments as long as I go back to the pack and apologize for running away!".
Then she turned to look at Damon, who nodded his head to her and then looks at me. I avoided his eyes and is really angry because I portrayed him like he is some kind of good person but he is exactly the opposite.
She let out a sigh of relief and said "Please do take care of my friend, she is such a nice girl, and won't do anything like this again!". He nodded his head like he is doing something great but only I know, how cruel and evil he can be.
"Rechel, do you really want to go back to his pack? As long as you don't want to, you can come to my pack, and I can accept you as an Alpha!" Lucas said, looking at me and Damon suspiciously. I was about to refuse him in fear of Damon but He jumped on Lucas and asked "What the fuck do you mean by that?! My pack is the best to pack in the country and everyone is happy in there! Did you mean that you can give her the best life that my Pack can't give?!".
"No... No, I didn't mean it like that! She... She is going back after so long and people might make her feel bad like she is a traitor so I ... I just wanted to help her like a brother!" He replied, looking at Damon in fear. I gulped as I can finally see the power he held over people. Even the Alpha of another Pack is scared of him.
