Emily looked at the clock, which was already one o'clock in the afternoon, but Ryan had moved entirely from his seat, the place where Emily first met him.

The man was still there staring at Emily, who was working. Sometimes Ryan would call Emily and talk to her. Emily was already very tired of responding to that man.

"Who's he? I see he kept talking to you earlier. Doesn't he know you're pregnant like this?" Emily's friend asked, looking at Ryan confused.

Indeed, who is not confused if a man stares hungrily at a pregnant woman? Does the man have no objection to the child the woman is carrying, or what?

Emily, who heard her friend's words, could only shrug her shoulders in ignorance.

"You are kidding? I just saw that you guys were close," repeated Emily's friend

"I don't know who he is," Emily answered doubtfully.

Faintly the image of the man a few months ago who had slept with her flashed through Emily's head. Emily looked back at Ryan from the place of order. It seemed that Emily still doubted that the man was Ryan, someone who had made her pregnant until now.

Her memory couldn't be compromised. It was challenging to remember the face of the man a few months ago. It only flashed like a mere shadow and a vague face.

“I noticed you kept your eyes on him, Emily. Isn't he very handsome? If he likes you, this is your golden opportunity, Emily! Quick, approach him!” her friend ordered passionately.

Emily stared at her friend in disbelief, was her friend gone? How could Emily have approached a man she didn't know at all?

Emily only knew the man's name. Yes, it was called Ryan. That's all Emily just found out when she introduced herself earlier. Then how could she get closer to Ryan? What nonsense!

“You don't go crazy! I don't even know him. How can I approach him?” she asked.

"It's only a matter of time. If you want to open your heart to him, you will know each other. I see his face is also handsome. It suits you very well," she said.

Emily rubbed her stomach while looking at her friend with an unreadable gaze, which of course, raised her friend's question as well. "What are you looking at me like that for, Emily?"

"No, I'll just go back to work," Emily answered, then got up to identify herself in the kitchen when several customers entered the restaurant.

Emily painstakingly delivered each food to each table. Emily also still puts on her sweet smile to customers.

"Emily, I wanted to talk to you, actually," Ryan said to Emily as she walked past him.

"Especially? Does anyone want to order more?” asked Emily with her sweet smile. A very forced, sweet smile. How also customer convenience remains Emily's priority. She always tries to work well, considering no one wants to accept a worker with two bodies anymore. What's worse is that she's grown up like this.

"I want to talk to you. Don't you have a moment?" he asked. Ryan had indeed tried to get Emily to talk, but Emily seemed to keep avoiding him.

Emily took a deep breath, then looked at Ryan with a look that couldn't be interpreted.

"Can't you see I'm working?" Emily asked, still staring at Ryan's eyes. Seeing this, Ryan immediately nodded in understanding.

Maybe the timing wasn't right, but Ryan had promised himself he would get Emily at any cost. Ryan didn't care anymore whether it was dirty or clean. He was so tired of waiting for Emily.

Ryan had indeed been looking for Emily for a long time. This time the woman he was looking for was already in front of him. Therefore, Ryan had promised not to let go of Emily again, the woman he adored.

“When did you finish work? I'll be waiting for you here," Ryan replied.

Emily closed her eyes briefly and then looked back at Ryan in disbelief. Was he going to wait for her until evening, or what? What is the man waiting for Emily for? Is there no other job for Ryan?

"Are you kidding? Actually, what do you want from me? Can't you see I'm having a big baby like this?” Emily asked, pointing to her protruding belly.

"What is the problem? That is our child,” Ryan answered lightly.

Emily was getting dizzy with Ryan's words. I don't know what the man before her wanted to do like this.

When Emily was about to leave, Emily's wrist was held by Ryan, which made her have to stop walking. "What else?"

“Okay, maybe it's too soon. I am confused. So I will be saying that I love you, Emily!" Emily widened her eyes in disbelief.

Does she love himself? Ryan, who Emily doesn't know, doesn't know what happened to that guy.

"You've gone mad!" rich Emily brushed her hand roughly.

“I love you, Emily. I've been looking for you everywhere for a long time. Is that not enough to prove my love for you?” Ryan asked while trying to reach Emily's hand.

After reaching it, Ryan held it tightly, as if he didn't hold it tightly, Emily would run away.

"What are you talking about?" she asked, confused.

"You want to marry me, right?" asked Ryan seriously.

Emily tried to shake off Ryan's hand, which was tightly gripping his hand, but her strength was far behind Ryan's. Emily tried to keep fighting, but until now, several visitors were watching them.

"Will you marry me, Emily?" Ryan asked again when there was no answer from Emily.

"No! I don't want to marry you. You're crazy!” Emily said breathlessly.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

“Get you out of my hands! I want to get back to work immediately,” Emily snarled.

"Not until you want to accept me to marry you. You don't need to work like this. I will fulfill you and our child!” he said.

"I don't care if I have to be the center of attention here," continued Ryan.

"Don't you make life difficult for me? I'll be back to work before I get into trouble because of you, so let go of my hands now!" said Emily firmly.

"Why do you seem to reject my presence? Don't you know who I am? I am the father of the child you are carrying, Emily!”

Emily was speechless. It felt like Emily's mouth was numb. Is what Ryan said true? But why did Emily feel so doubtful?
