The next day, Emily is now awake from her sleep. The woman's head felt very dizzy, maybe due to the effects of the anesthetic her body was receiving.

Emily's eyes glanced at the room she was currently in. Emily's body also ached all over. Emily tried to move her body but couldn't. Moments later, Emily realized that her hands and feet were tightly tied to the end of the bed in a supine position.

“W-what happened?” Emily said frantically when she saw her current condition.

Her memory was directed at yesterday's incident. While she was working, Ryan invited her to talk outside. After that, only darkness that Emily felt. Was that guy doing all of this?

Emily was angry, and the woman kept trying to untie the rope that remembered her hands and feet. But unfortunately, the yarn was so strong that even Emily's efforts would be in vain. Strong enough to make Emily's hands and feet ache from continuing to struggle.

Soon a man came with a tray of food. The man smiled at Emily. "You're awake?" asked Ryan innocently.

Yes, that man is Ryan. Ryan kept walking towards Emily. He didn't care about Emily's gaze, which seemed ready to pounce on him.

"Let me go! What do you mean by tying me like this?” asked Emily angrily.

“There is no other way, Emily. You are too stubborn. If you don't refute my words, I won't do something like this to you," Ryan replied.

The man put the tray of food on the nightstand right beside Emily. After that, Ryan looked back at Emily, who couldn't do anything with a meaningful smile. Emily, who saw this, became afraid. Her heart kept guessing what Pliers wanted Ryan to do to her.

"Emily, what's so hard about accepting me?" Ryan asked.

“I don't want to. I feel I can afford to raise my child. Didn't I tell you that I don't need you to care for my child at all?” Emily answered while looking at Ryan with a wild gaze.

"Why did it happen? Do you want our child not to have a father?” Ryan asked, eyeing Emily closely.

Emily is silent, father? Of course, her child will need a father figure. But somehow, Emily thinks this happened just by accident. So Emily didn't want to burden anyone with her child at all.

“Think, Emily. Think carefully and wisely. If you keep insisting on living alone like this, I don't know how society's gaze will receive our child," Ryan said, trying to explain his head to Emily.

What's so hard about just accepting him? Just take it, that's all! Why did it seem as if Ryan's choices were so hard that Emily didn't want to choose? Even though Ryan promised to look after Emily and her baby later.

"I've thought about it carefully. What's more, we don't know each other either. I'm not sure our relationship will be good either,” Emily replied.

Ryan looked at Emily closely as if, from the look in his eyes, he was answering Emily's words.

"We don't know each other, just names," Emily continued.

“You are right, but I have promised myself to protect you guys: you and our child. Problems getting to know each other, we can get through it together, Emily. Let me be responsible with my child. I beg you, accept me .." said Ryan Long.

"How could I believe you? When you were just in the middle of hurting me by tying me up like this?” Emily asked.

Ryan chuckled. After that, he walked closer to Emily and opened the rice rope in Emily's hand; after that continued to spread the rope that tied Emily's feet.

After being freed from the rope that remembered her, Emily breathed a sigh of relief, and she immediately changed her position to sit on the bed. Emily held her wrist, which was now red.

Ryan, who knew about it, immediately grabbed Emily's hand, and the man gave her a short kiss which made Emily dumbfounded.

"I'm sorry. I tied you up because I was afraid you would rebel and run away from me," Ryan said while gently stroking Emily's hand.

"So how? You want to accept me, right?" Ryan asked.

Ryan's arrival, especially with Ryan's extraordinary nature, of course, made doubts grow in Emily's heart. Hesitation to accept the foreign man is his life. But on the other hand, Emily could see the seriousness in Ryan's eyes.

Emily is confused by this. The child also, of course, needs a father figure, as Ryan said.

"Are you sure about what you said?" asked Emily trying to make sure.

“Of course, I will take care of you, I promise. How? You want to accept me, right?" Ryan asked with sparkling eyes when he saw Emily's attitude that had changed for the better.

"Maybe there's no harm in trying," said Emily.

"So... you accept me, right?" Ryan shouted. Emily nodded. It seems there is no harm in establishing a relationship with Ryan. Emily could also see that Ryan seemed like a nice guy.

"Then you should recharge first. You have to eat, Emily. I have brought food for you and also our child. You are starving, right?” Emily smiled faintly when she heard the words coming from Ryan's mouth.

Emily becomes a little convinced that there's nothing wrong with accepting Ryan into her life, seeing the man pay attention to Emily. And Emily hopes, hopefully, Ryan will not change. The attitude of the man is still like this.

Ryan took the plate containing the side dishes he had brought earlier. Ryan patiently fed the food to Emily. Emily hesitantly devoured the food. At the same time, a sweet smile is now made on Ryan's lips.

"How? You like?" he asked.

Emily nodded faintly; after that, Ryan started serving the next bite until now, no food was left in the bowl. Ryan immediately took the milk he brought earlier and handed it to Emily.

"Drink so that our children will be strong inside," said Ryan.

"Thank you," Emily replied.

"I will treat your wound, forgive me for making you like this," said Ryan in a regretful tone.

This is not entirely Ryan's fault. Maybe if Emily hadn't tried to pull her hands as hard as she could in the binding earlier, now she wouldn't have been hurt.

"Thank you," Emily replied again.

Ryan smiled warmly. Will the next day be any better than this? Or vice versa?
