Celebration filled the air in Allenwood, every citizen was happy and felt free to move about and go about their daily activities without looking out for the Fitnami soldiers, they sang praises to Allen and for days they threw little evening parties at the village center in front of Allen's hut, where they acknowledged the spirits of their lost members and offered something to a notable survivor, and later on, they created music out of bone flutes and lovers danced together, it became a major social gathering.

Allen was happy to see his family happy and safe from the hands of the Fitnami empire, but deep down in his heart he was afraid, The words of that fierce beast always came back to him

"NOW YOU HAVE THE POWER TO DESTROY YOUR ENEMIES, BUT YOUR OURS FOREVER "

, he wondered what that implied and what the consequences would be. The whispering voice in his head always came to life at sunset, accompanied by a deep hunger and thirst for blood, for several days after the first encounter, Allen tried to suppress the hunger and ignore the voice in his head but it only grew stronger as nights passed, it got too much sometimes and he would go out into the woods turning into a full-blown out, werewolf to hunt other animals and drink their blood this seemed to help a bit but after a while, he wanted human blood, not wanting to harm his family, he would go far into the woods at night hunting for any stray human but he never found, it got so much one night he had to devour one of his subjects, this made him stronger and he enjoyed the meal.

However, by the next morning, he sympathized with the loved ones.

Allen had decided to feed on lawbreakers and outlaws within the settlement since there was already a belief that a god is protecting them whom they should please he thought to incorporate the sacrifice of outlaws into their belief system. This he concluded would solve the problem, but his expectation was cut short when he had a very scary encounter with the five alpha pack werewolves the night he went on his usual hunt.

"Allen!"

The Alpha called as the rest surrounded him and subdued him Allen was surprised at how powerless and small he looked and felt around them.

"We helped you, now you will feed us " Allen was confused, and he replied in a shaking voice

"how can I feed you great one?"

“give us the right to feast on your people once every full moon, a full moon is coming very soon all you have to do is bring a little child to us from your clan and we shall drink of its blood together on your soil, should you not comply we would come and take anyone we please....hahahahah, you know you can't stop us, happy hunting Allen."

As they left Allen regained his strength he knew he had created bigger trouble, so he decided to oblige while he searched for a lasting solution.

Allen did as he was instructed by the Alpha, He poured a liquid substance he was given on the land, this gave them the right to feed on any living being on the land before the full moon, however on full moon nights they could feed anywhere they choose.

After Allen had done the deed Allenwood lost one of its citizens once a week sometimes twice, this once again brought fear to the people of Allenwood this time it was believed to be supernatural and was gradually accepted, Allen on the other hand secretly feed on his people to quench the hunger, When he was sure he was losing control he left Allenwood in search for a cure to what plagued him and his people.

As Allen plunged down the woods, he came across a hunter with his wife and daughter he devoured the hunter, and when he came for the wife the cry of the baby girl subdued him and made him powerless.

The baby and her injured mother found their way back to Allenwood, where they were sheltered and taken care of, the baby was born with the supernatural power to subdue and eventually kill any other power that came close to harming her, she was a natural antidote to the werewolf plague, but no one knew.

The people of Allenwood woke up one morning and could not find their King Allen, they feared he was taken by the spirits and that his turn had come, this caused a little unrest in the settlement as there was a power tussle amongst three of the oldest sons of Allen this divided the whole settlement into four sections one for each of the sons and the last believed strongly that their King had probably set out to find a cure to the deaths they suffered and would soon be back. Others argued that he would have informed his three eldest sons and a witness with instructions to be followed if he went on such a quest.

It was finally agreed to wait for two months before, any decision will be made on who to take power, the two months came with no sign of Allen the section who believed he was still alive was reduced considerably in number, hence the tussle was on again it often saw bloodsheds, as the chaos increased the werewolves feed better, sometimes they did not completely kill the victims turning them into new werewolves by the next night. This only got worse until power was finally given to the oldest son, (Allen the second).

As he took power he quickly took some brave strong youths under his command and established a form of security against the werewolves and called them (the night guide), they formed a kind of opposition to the werewolves and informed the whole settlement whenever any werewolf was seen around, they also built a kind of fence round the whole settlement with a central main gate including a very high watch tower, Allenwood looked and felt secured while Allen the second took charge.
