Chapter 3 Wanna marry to a gay

"Daniel, I'm not blaming you, but can you be friendly?"

Henry was sure if Daniel had been nicer and less sarcastic, those women wouldn't have gone off so quickly.

But after thinking about it, Henry decided that the chances of this happening to Daniel were zero, and then he made a heartfelt suggestion.

"Daniel, why don't you spend some money and hire a young and beautiful actress? Let her pretend to be your girlfriend and accompany you for six months."

Henry talked so hard that he was a little thirsty, but Daniel still looked into the distance and didn't answer him.

Henry was immediately dissatisfied. He shouted at Daniel, "Daniel! I've been saying a lot here, and you haven't heard a word, have you?"

He unconsciously followed Daniel's gaze.

When he saw Bella not far away, he did the same, and unconsciously said, "Whew! Isn't that Bella? She stayed in City A?"

Daniel, who had been staring silently at Bella, finally responded.

He turned, but out of the corner of his eye was still watching Bella tap her fingers on the table top. "Do you remember her?"

Henry picked up his good looking eyes and understood Daniel's words.

Henry had always only remembered women with nice bodies, and it was strange for him to remember someone as ordinary as Bella.

"Yes," he said with a crooked smile, "Bella is not my type. But I remember her because she was with you..."

He paused, then, somehow, changed the subject.

"She and Carl Hawk were talked about a lot on campus.”

The name Carl Hawk made Daniel's dark eyes go darker and cooler.

"I remember her throwing Carl over the shoulder and kicking his legs in front of the library," he said, casting a playful glance at oblivious Bella nearby.

"Throw him over the shoulder?" Daniel frowned, clearly confused by his words.

"Right! It was an over-the-shoulder fall! You were there!"

Henry seemed to recall the scene, the corners of his mouth rising more and more sharply. "Oh yes," he said, patting his forehead with enlightenment. "I remember you walking away and not seeing it..."

He excitedly recounted the scene to Daniel.

"I thought Carl went abroad with our school beauty Natalie. He was a man who cheated and played with girl's feelings. He came back to Bella, held her in front of the library, and tried to kiss her forcibly. Do you know what she did to him?"

Daniel's expression had become calm, seemingly indifferent and casually asked, "What did she do to him?"

"She threw him to the ground and stepped on his legs. Carl's face turned white with pain. I still want to laugh when I think of his incredible look!"

Just thinking about it, Henry still wanted to give Bella a thumbs-up in his heart.

Daniel froze as he held the coffee. His pretty face was shocked, and his eyes to Bella, for some reason, had a little more emotion in them.

So she didn't get back together with Carl?

While they were chatting, a tall and gorgeous woman walked into the cafe.

She stood in the doorway and looked around the cafe, then fixed her eyes on Bella's table. With a bright smile, she whispered, "Bella."

Bella finally came to her senses from staring out the window. When she saw her, she smiled back and waved. "Sabina, come here!"

This tall and good-looking person is Bella's college classmate and best friend, Sabina, a hot model in City A.

As Sabina sat down, she said, "Where's Teddy? I asked him to help you. Where is he?"

Bella gasped, "Sabina, did you really send Teddy to help me? Are you sure you didn't send him to trouble me?"

Sabina turned to the waiter and said, "Cappuccino, thank you."

When the waiter left, she smiled and said, "What's wrong? Teddy is usually a smart kid. I asked him to help and he couldn't help you?"

Bella looked even more frustrated. "Yes," she said. "It's over. Just wait till Mrs. Carter gives me another piece of her mind tonight."

What she said Mrs. Carter was her mother, Maggie Carter.

It was her mother who was so strong that she could arrange blind dates again and again for her in City A while she was in City C!

Sabina, seeing her speechless look, laughed with glee.

"Ha, ha, Bella, your mother must think you're an old and leftover woman, or she wouldn't be so eager to marry you off."

Bella gave her a big eye-roll, sighed and said, "Sabina, there are so many people who don't want to get married right now, but I haven't met one."

Sabina gave her a puzzled look and said, "What would you do if you met one? This has nothing to do with being forced into a blind date."

Bella perked up, her eyes brightening, and said, "It seems don't matter anymore! But it also matters a lot!"

Sabina, confused by her words, looked at her.

"You see, there must be family pressures when they're together. They must need to find a woman for fake marriage or a fake girlfriend to cope with the family. So they and I can help each other."

The more Bella talked, the more she felt a solution was possible.

At least Maggie could be put off for a while.

"You want a fake marriage?"

"Yes! Don't you think that's a good idea?"

Sabina looked down and thought, "Yes, it's a good idea. But it can only be concealed for a while, not forever!"

"Now if I can get Mrs. Carter to give me a moment's peace, I'll thank God!"

Sabina smiled when she saw Bella and burst her bubble.

"But surely you can't find anyone near you to fake a marriage?"

Bella looked like a deflated balloon, then withered. Because Sabina was absolutely right!

But when Daniel listened to their conversation, his cold eyes slightly lowered. A thoughtful expression appeared on his face.
