I left the pack house once I wan done with my chores and buckled up myself in the confinement, of my room which is what I've always done.
Thankfully, my room is sizeable enough, not that it's big but it's comfortable for people like us who were considered as nothing.
I was able to get this room all thanks to Jeannie.
She has always been a friend.
Well….None of us wanted to be weak and we cannot also question the moon goddess, because if you are to ask me everybody must not be the same but at the same time no one and I mean no one wishes to be born as an Omega.
Tears trickled from my eyes as I wiped it off, i was not just an omega but a lone wolf as well.
Why was my fate this way?
I stood up, and walked out to the frontage of the packhouse and lean against the railings. The morning breeze did justice by blowing my hair to different angles. I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply if only I didn't have so much to worry about just if only everything is fine.
“I can see you’re enjoying the cold breeze” I heard someone say behind me and I snapped my eyes opened.
It was my kid sister Grace.
I rolled my eyes and look away.
“What do you want?” I muttered.
She rolled her eyes, and said,
"Hey sister, don’t be like that. I only came to inform you that the future Alpha will be home tomorrow and you know, he has promised to make me his fiancée once he returns and we have been speaking over the phone since all the years he was away. He even sent me his pictures every years. Geez! My Prince Charming is more handsome now. Sister, soon enough, I’m gonna be your Luna and also the Luna of this pack”
I wince as I felt a pin being stuck to my chest. Not because my sister is gonna get engaged to the future Alpha but because I still can’t find my mate.
She was doing this purposely. Maybe to rub it on my face.
“How does it concern me Grace” I said as anger surged in me.
“You’re my sister Kim. It’s best you should know. Well….bye. I can’t stand you. You’re just full of bad luck and jealousy. Gosh!” She hissed and walked out.
I felt irritated and stared at her back view till it was out of sight.
Tears pricked at the corner of my eyes but I quickly wipe them. I’m not gonna shed any more tears cause of this.
“Here you are, I’ve been looking for you!” I look up and saw Jeannie walking up to me.
"I just wanted to take a walk. But since you’re here, let’s walk together"
I told her.
"Okay" she nodded.
We took a walk round the packhouse and even outside.
Jeannie took to different places in the pack and it was already dawn when we came back.
Jeannie has left for her quarters while I returned to my room.
I’m suddenly feeling sick and I don't know why.
I went to the bathroom pulled off my clothes and entered the shower, I stayed there for a longer time hoping I'd feel better. It worked and I returned to my bed.
I hugged the comfort of my bed and coiled myself in a bun. I closed my eyes and let the night take over.

It's still early in the morning and the weather today is all cozy.
Well, today is the long-awaited day all my kind of Omegas have been waiting for. I slip my feet into my sandals that's one of the maid uniforms since I'm among them. Taking one more glance at my simple reflection I think I'm okay.
I step out of my room, locking the door. As I walk along the hallway that leads to the pack kitchen I can't help but feel this negative chills around me like something bad is going to happen, well I normally get this kind of feeling whenever something bad wants to happen like the morning when my father threw me out of our house and rejected me as his daughter, I was the first to wake up that day and this is exactly the type of chill that I felt.
I shook my head not wanting to cloud my thoughts with negativity and insecurity.
"The future Alpha is back!” I heard murmurings from the pack members.
I furrowed my brows. It was still early in the morning so when did he arrived?
“He changed a lot. He’s looking more dashing”
When did he arrived I said to myself and pat my palpitating chest in a comforting manner.
I was about to walk into the stairs that lead to the pack kitchen when I saw the Alpha prince walking towards my direction with his hands folded behind his back. His eyes landed on me and he stared at me for a while before walking away.
I froze.
He had on a black suit that clung to his body while making him look hotter than any of my memories of him.
His eyes seemed to have gotten sharper and even more beautiful, he has always had beautiful eyes anyways but it seemed like he now knew how to make them look more appealing, his black hair had been left to grow a little bit more than i remembered but all in all, he looked dashing.
I caress my thumping heart that won't stop beating fast like a tornado.
“Fuck. Why I’m I feeling this way!”
I groaned.
It’s not like we shared something in the past and beside, he’s gonna be my Kid sister fiancé.
After making sure my thumbing heart is now beating normally, I took a deep breath in and out and smiled, just like I said nothing is allowed to spoil my day. I climb down the stairs that lead to the Kitchen and met madam Rose in the kitchen with most of the maid.
She is the head maid to us.
"Good morning mam" I greeted kissing her both cheeks, that's how she is to all of us, she's just like the mother that we Omegas I never had.
"Quickly take this tea to the future Alpha. He’s in the dining hall" Madam Rose said, handing a tray containing a cup of tea to me.
I nodded and carried the tray from her and walk out gently, to the dining room.
I carried the tray carefully. I was close to the dinning room when my kid sister Grace suddenly bumped into me making all the content pour on her dress.
Gosh, can my day get any better when I stop my clumsiness?
"I'm….s" I didn't get to finish the sentence before a stinging slap landed on my cheeks, I was still recovering from that when another landed on my left cheek blurring my sight as I staggered back and fell on my butt but she neared me and I kept on moving back.
When it comes to Grace, there’s nothing I can do. I can’t even fight back. I don’t want to unleash my dad’s anger.
My back is finally against the wall, no place to run to as I closed my eyes waiting for the unexpected when suddenly I heard…...
''Enough!"
I heard that deep masculine voice. It was slightly different from what i remembered his voice to be, it sounded more masculine, deeper, and more hot.
I hated to admit that.
I slowly turned towards the direction of his voice and found him leaning against the wall casually.
"Didn't you see what she did to me!?" Grace shouted back
"One more word from you Grace and you won't like me" He said to her and my eyes widened.
Did he just speak to the woman he loved that way?
"I'm your girlfriend and we’ll soon be getting engaged. Why the hell are you defending her!" She shouted
"Grace, that's enough!"
"No, it's not!" She fired back.
"Tell me why are you siding with her?"
"I'm not siding with nobody Grace she spilled it on you unintentionally now let it go…"
"I'm not yet done with you" She glared at me and walked out stomping her feet hard on the floor while going out.
I sighed and wanted to stand up when I saw Alpha Kayden stretch forth his hand for me to take.
I blush as my face turned red, slowly I place my hand on his stretched palm and he pulled me up,
"I'm sorry" He muttered to me and walk out,
My mouth went agape. The future Alpha just saved me?
