Emond took the phone and headed to the window.

Christina couldn't figure out what they were talking about, but she could see Emond's expression change from solemn to relaxed and then a reassuring smile.

After hanging up, Emond walked back.

Christina looked at him apologetically. "I'm sorry Emond, I didn't mean to, I thought it was my..."

"It doesn't matter."

Emond interrupted her apology, looked at her and said, "I don't blame you. You're still my wife. It's normal for you to answer my phone."

Christina nodded.

She got ready to get up and hurried to her room.

Suddenly Emond leaned over, the tip of her nose almost touching her face. "What happened to your neck?"

Christina was about to turn his head when Emond picked her up and strode him to the mirror.

Starting with her neck, her back and arms were covered in a red rash. It was a big and horrible looking rash.

It's the mango she ate yesterday.

"Maybe it's an allergy. I'll take some medicine and it'll be fine" Christina said.

Emond frowned. "Are you sure it's all right?"

"It's all right." "Christina explained.

He looked up and saw Emond's frowning face. Suddenly he realized that he was afraid of being misunderstood by his grandmother. He said, "Wait a minute, I'll put on some makeup to cover it up."

"I promise Grandma will never know."

When Fanny returned, he filed for divorce without waiting for the contract to expire. He must have wanted to end the relationship as soon as possible.

She promised Emond yesterday to go to see Grandma today and mentioned the divorce.

Emond has women he’s in love with, and she doesn't stand in their way selfishly.

She could not and would not do such a thing.

"Go to the hospital today." Emond said.

"To the hospital?" Christina was a little surprised. Her first thought was that he had found the pregnancy test.

Then she denied the answer, that Grandma already knew?

Christina asked cautiously, "Aren't we going to Grandma's?"

"Are you in a hurry to get divorced with me?" She clearly sensed that Emond was in a bad mood.

Christina was completely confused. Wasn't he the one in a hurry?

"Are you in a hurry to take that money and go to your lover?"

"Aren't you in a bigger hurry?" "Christina blurted out.

Emond put her down and said coldly, "Are you accusing me?"

Christina stepped on the cold floor and looked him straight in the eye, not knowing where the courage came from. "Who am I to accuse you? It's just the truth."

She left the room with bare feet.

She thought Emond was just talking.

After breakfast, she was picked up by Emond and taken to the hospital.

The doctor's office.

Christina sat in his chair, glancing at Emond from time to time.

She was in a panic. She thought Emond would leave once he got her to the hospital, but instead he sat by her side, talking to the doctor about her illness.

"Is she just allergic to something?"

"Yes." The doctor looked at Christina and asked, "Do you know what you're allergic to?"

"Yes." Christina whispered back.

Before the doctor could speak, Emond snapped, "You know what you're allergic to. Why don't you pay attention? You're so sick now."

Christina lowered his head and clasped his hands together.

The doctor scribbled a medicine list on a piece of paper and handed it over. "I'll give you some oral medicine. You should take it first. If you don’t feel any better, you have to come back and take an injection.”

Christina felt her lower abdomen in a bit of a dilemma, worried about the effect of the oral medication on the baby, but she couldn't ask the doctor right now, so she could only reach out and take it.

As they left the office, Christina made another excuse and sneaked back in.

"Doctor, I am pregnant, can I still take this medicine?"

The doctor looked up and snatched the prescription. "What nonsense! Why didn't you say that? Pregnant women should not take this medicine."

Christina smiled awkwardly, took the revised prescription, thanked the doctor and left.

In the hallway, she startled Emond, who was supposed to be waiting for her at the window.

She also wondered if he had heard her conversation with the doctor. His face was dark and he did not speak to her.

In this way they remained silent until they reached the medicine window. At last he could not resist. "Is this your way of asking me to stay?"

Christina knew he must have thought he was trying to turn their relationship around by playing dirty.

Hurriedly explained, "No, it's just an accident."

Emond's face grew worse as she explained.

Christina was speechless. If she in this way to hurt herself to ask him to stay, will he agree?

Her heart has long been filled with him, the decision to divorce the moment, peel the pain has made her heart are scars, but he can not see any of these.

"We're going to get divorced. These two years with you, I am very happy and satisfactory. I won't bother you this last time. You've helped me so much."

"Oh." Emond replied coldly.

Christina's hoped were dashed. She wanted to hear if Emond felt the same way about their marriage.

But the cold response seemed to have answered her pestering.

But the next, Emond said, "We're not divorced yet. You're still my wife. It's my duty to take care of you."

Emond was reading the instructions when she asked, "What the doctor prescribed was an oral medicine. How can it be used externally?"

Christina had no idea he was so perceptive. "It's better if you apply it externally," he said.

"Is it better to apply it externally than orally? Christina, do you think I'm gullible? Grandma's birthday is coming up."

"The allergy will be over soon. Will you trust me? I won't let Grandma see anything different. She won't accuse you of it."

She knew Emond's concern and could only reassure him.

Still, Emond disagreed.

Christina ran after him. "Emond, wait, My... My stomach is sensitive, oral medicine is too irritating. External application is milder to me."

The reason finally persuaded him.

Inside the car.

Christina kept scratching his rash. As the night went on, the allergy got worse and worse. Soon, the bare skin was scratched red and swollen.

She had to take out the ointment and apply it in advance.

But she couldn't rub her back. After several failures, Emond suddenly took the ointment. "Let me help you."

She had her back to Emond. His fingers groped their way in under the collar and gently motioned her back.

The warm breath of his breath fell on her sensitive ears, nudging her faintly and making her clench her arms nervously.

She kept scolding herself. What were you thinking?

Emond is helping her drugging her back and all she wants to do is to fuck him?

She shook her head. Christina's cheeks turned red. She had to warn Emond to stay away from her.

But when she opened her mouth, the sound was sweet and delicate with the sound of a lover, "Emond, that’s itchy!"
